Jimmy Suppelsa leads Touchplan’s global sales, marketing, and partner development strategies. He is a highly-skilled, sales and product management leader with close to 30 years of experience in SaaS technologies. Jimmy began his career at FactSet, where he helped the company grow from less than $20 million in revenue to over $1Billion in revenue over 21 years. Over that time, he contributed to many different roles – including sales, sales management, and product strategy.
Before joining Touchplan, he was the Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Product at Coleman Research Group, an Expert Network company. It was a $38 million company with 200 employees globally and was struggling to grow. During his time, he improved revenue growth from 4% to 34% year over year. He also was part of the team that developed an investor pitch which eventually led to the sale of the company to VisasQ.
Before Coleman Research, Jimmy was the co-founder of data company called Best Credit Data (BCD), whose product is US Municipal Bond Evaluated Prices, which essentially involves estimating (calculating) a price for securities that don’t trade on a given day.
Jimmy is an active supporter of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Junior Achievement. Over the last 20 years, Jimmy raised over $1.2 million for Dana Farber, starting in 1999 with the PanMass Challenge, a 210+ mile bike ride across Massachusetts. Since 2008, he has been running a golf tournament on Cape Cod as his primary means to raise money for Dana Farber (raised $110k in 2021). Jimmy has also served on the board of Junior Achievement’s New England chapter for over 10 years and also volunteers his time during the year to teach Junior Achievement programs to students in the Boston area.
Jimmy holds a bachelor of science in management information systems and finance from Boston College.
