Upcoming 430,000 square foot lab and office building overlooking NorthPoint Common. Office space will be built to accommodate science and technology tenants, with amenities including a potential rooftop terrace. Three levels of underground parking will contain 348 vehicle spaces. 110 bicycle storage spaces will be located on the building’s first floor, in addition to 17,000 square feet of retail. 250 North Street will be built to LEED Gold sustainability specifications. The building is 57%-leased following Philips’ lease of 243,000 square feet.
250 North Street will be part of the first phase of DivcoWest’s 45-acre, 4.5-million-square-foot Cambridge Crossing development, which upon completion will feature 2.1 million square feet of state-of-the-art science and technology-geared office space, 2.4 million square feet of residential space with 2,400 residential units and 100,000 square feet of retail. 250 North Street’s lab and office lobby will front a new park, Baldwin Park. The building’s retail space will be located across from a future retail pavilion, another component of Cambridge Crossing’s first phase. 250 North Street will be located steps to the Lechmere rapid transit station, convenient to Kendall Square and Downtown Boston.
