Touchplan and National Association of Women in Construction Announce Marketing Partnership

Collaboration will begin with “Build. Lead. Succeed.” podcast

Boston, MA — (July 29, 2021) – Award-winning construction technology platform Touchplan, the software division of MOCA Systems, Inc., announces that it has entered into a marketing partnership with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

This new collaboration will focus on Touchplan and NAWIC leveraging their common missions to foster open-mindedness, connection, and collaboration in the construction industry in order to make people’s lives better. As a result, the goal is to empower each organization’s respective brands, messaging, and missions through a series of marketing content, education and events, while also strengthening and amplifying the voices of women in the construction industry.

The first project as part of this initiative will be to launch a new podcast entitled ‘Build. Lead. Succeed.’ This show is dedicated to sharing real stories and conversations with women in the construction industry.

Hosted by Angela Highland, project manager for Ironrock Commercial Construction, and produced by Touchplan, the podcast will cover topics that women face every day on jobsites, ranging from workplace harassment prevention and the importance of setting workplace boundaries to ill-fitting PPE, sexist remarks on the job, poor port-o-john options, and more.

“Women occupy 10 percent of the industry, so we’ve gained some ground but not nearly enough,” says Anne Pfleger, NAWIC national president and estimating safety, and HR administrator at Charles Construction Services, Inc. “There are thousands of women out there who can relate to the struggles we face in this industry. I believe this is the perfect format for women in the industry to be able to become part of the conversation about issues that affect their everyday lives.”

A trailer episode for ‘Build. Lead. Succeed.’ is available now, and the first official episode will launch on Aug. 3, 2021. Additional episodes are planned to air on the first Tuesday of every month and will be hosted on The Touchplan Podcast Network on www.soundcloud.com which connects to almost all podcast channels including Apple Podcasts and Google Play.

In addition to the podcast launch, Touchplan will be contributing its point of view to the program at the upcoming NAWIC Annual Conference from August 11-14. Touchplan’s Director of Customer Success Josie Cutts will be hosting a breakout session entitled ’Building, Growing and Developing a Spartan Team.’  The session will focus on the core principles that set up conditions at work that ensure the success of both the team and the teammates.

Touchplan Releases Key Project Profitability Enhancement

Construction Performance Platform Connects Master Schedule to Field Plan

Boston, MA,  (May 3, 2021) — Award-winning construction technology platform Touchplan, a division of MOCA Systems, Inc., announces the release of a groundbreaking innovation that empowers construction teams to vastly improve project performance and profitability by easily aligning their external master schedule with their daily jobsite execution plan.

The enhancement is available for immediate use by the thousands of construction professionals and executives that collaborate on the Touchplan platform globally. It eliminates what has long been a tedious, manual process for field managers to connect what is happening on the jobsite with the project controls set in the master schedule.
